The Introduction and Goals
"“Our goal was to create a high-quality platform that presents medical content in an engaging, accessible, and interactive way, allowing users to absorb better and retain the information. 10Clouds played a crucial role in achieving this objective by contributing 20-35% to Quesmed's overall success. We found a reliable, trusted Partner in 10Clouds Team, which we were able to scale up and down throughout our long-term cooperation,”" — Yezen Sammaraiee, Quesmed's co-founder
Challenges
However, during the process of scaling up its platform, Quesmed faced several challenges, including finding reliable and experienced technology partners. They initially experimented with various outsourcing teams, but these teams didn't meet their expectations in terms of quality and reliability.
"“When we entered the project, it turned out that it had a scattered development, which urgently needed to be fixed. On top of that, the founders were coding the backend themselves. Even though their assumptions were promising, the combination with our front end resulted in a remarkable outcome. Then, we managed to convince the client to work in sprints, which made the process regular. I was glad they were flexible, open to redesign, and understood that the apps needed to be consistent. They trusted us as experts,”" — Joanna Kraśnicka, Product Delivery Manager
Initially, Quesmed addressed the need for a mobile app. But the scope of cooperation quickly expanded, and 10Clouds provided a comprehensive range of services, including design, branding, and project management.
Aleksander Fret was the second developer on the project, and his goal was to introduce a new feature - a module of special exams in the form of conversation. It was about situational scenes during which the examinee was checked on how they talk to the patient and how they check soft and hard competencies in the conversation. Later, he became the main front-end developer.
"“Maintenance was challenging to do for the project because it used old libraries. We had to learn new schemes when we joined the job. We made a plan for reworking, that included fixing wrong implementations, doing things more systematically, in line with good practices, and updating the project’s documentation. Rarely do clients demonstrate the willingness to step back, embrace change, and trust the experts. It's a pleasure to work with such a mature approach,”" — Aleksander Fret, Frontend Developer

Deliverables
Mobile apps for iOS and Android
We began our cooperation by crafting native applications for iOs and Android. Afterward, we broadened our alliance by enhancing the code quality and introducing new capabilities.
Landing pages and a new website
The client was flexible, so we convinced him to redesign the application and website to ensure consistency. We began by updating the landing pages for improved usability.
360’ Design services including Branding and Product Redesign
We were able to improve the aesthetics of the existing app by using our 360' Design services, which included Branding and Product Redesign.
Machine Learning implementation
By utilizing Machine Learning, we were able to uncover patterns in the data and make accurate predictions. This enabled us to maximize the benefits of the data and enhance the user experience.
Business Impact
Quesmed’s sales have skyrocketed by an impressive 550%, showcasing the effectiveness and popularity of their services. They are now active in over 20 countries around the world, serving tens of thousands of users on a daily basis. This rapid growth and global reach demonstrate the high demand and positive impact their platform has on medical education for students and professionals alike.
Yezen Sammaraiee expressed his appreciation for 10Clouds' transparent and honest approach. He valued our willingness to challenge Quesmed's ideas and provide constructive feedback. This open communication resulted in better decision-making and ultimately led to the development of a more effective platform. Sammaraiee also highlighted the personal connections formed between the two companies, which went beyond a simple transactional relationship and demonstrated a shared passion for delivering a valuable product.
Looking forward, Quesmed hopes to continue working with 10Clouds as they explore expansion possibilities, both geographically and in terms of product offerings. One of the natural areas of interest is Generative AI implementation. Witnessing Quesmed's venture into AI technology would be truly remarkable.
