Our interview with Website Planet:

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Adrianna Wardzała - a marketing team leader at 10Clouds. We spoke about the services her company provides and what sets them apart from their competition.

10Clouds was founded by two friends - Maciej Cielecki and Michał Kłujszo. Maciej left his previous position because he didn’t like how ineffectively it was run. He felt that there is a better way to take care of programmers and designers. After having some experience with startups they eventually started doing some freelance development work for external companies. That was not so popular back then in Poland, and it gave them the competitive edge that they needed. They understood both the needs of developers, being ones themselves, and the needs of foreign customers.

What services do you offer?

Basically, we are a one-stop-shop in terms of software development and design. Because we have around eleven years of experience, we grew up with our customers. We started helping start-ups who wanted to develop their MVPs for their mobile products or web apps. All of us matured over the years so we started serving more scale-ups and addressing their need for really high-quality developers. These people provide much more value than just coding, as they also understand their business needs and culture. That is how we started developing our operational excellence. Whenever you need support in terms of IT, we can help you grow your business.

What separates you from other similar websites or companies?

The fact that we are not just coders, doing one-off tasks about which we later forget. We are the problem-solvers who play an active part in developing these products and we cooperate with customers as business partners.

Being able to have deep business conversations allow us to understand the ambitions of our customers, and hence we can propose cutting-edge technology and solutions that will give them a competitive advantage for years to come.

Who are your typical customers and what do you think is the main challenge that your product solves for them?

Our typical customers are companies based in the US, UK, DACH countries, or Australia. They are either start-ups that got some traction and are looking to become scale-ups, or they are scale-ups in need of meeting the demands of investors. They approach us for support in developing their products. As we offer our services, the biggest issue we solve is the ability to access the talent pool of highly qualified people here in Poland.

What are the plans for 10Clouds in the near future?

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic and how the world changed, all companies understand that digital is the way forward. There are a lot of business ideas from enterprises in terms of how to digitize their products and services and we want to fill in this gap and be the translator of technologies to the business side. We want to help them understand what is important to build those services and solutions for their customers that would help them bulletproof their businesses for years to come.

How has the Covid-19 pandemic impacted your customers and business?

In terms of business, we are lucky enough that we were working remotely before the pandemic struck. We were able to continue working smoothly without any stops, and our customers were unaffected. That was very important for us.

In regards to our customers, their level of uncertainty rose a lot, and due to that, we saw a little slowdown in business decision-making in March, but that wasn’t a problem for a very long time. After people adjusted and understood that this is the way we are going to operate for quite some time, they started innovating. We saw a huge demand for people who were trying to solve business problems. We helped develop an app for one of the universities in the US that would help spot the fake news about Covid-19. So in conclusion - it increased uncertainty for us, but fortunately, our customers quickly got back to business as normal, and we saw a huge increase in creativity as people were trying to address the new needs of the market.
